A word to all Alumni: We need to do something about homecoming. Who the fuck wants to come home to hang out in a tiny-ass tent? Why should we have to be isolated from the games just because some "athletes" can't take a little heckling? Most importantly, why should we give the school a cent when we can't even come back and celebrate the good times we had at Mary Wash out in the open fields of the Battle Ground? If you want to give money to the school, give it to the department you majored in, a club you were active in, or to a team you played on. When the Alumni office calls be very clear that they will not see so much as a penny until they restore homecoming to what it should be: the one time of the year all MWC students and alumni can drink out in the open and not get hassled for it. I can guarentee you that if they get this answer from all the people they call, we won't have to be crowded in the Wood Company's tent any longer.
